Webspace

After your website is built, all the pages, graphics, files, multimedia, databases, etc... will need to be stored. We will make sure that you aren't paying for storage space that you don't need. From design we will work out what your future demands for storage space will need to be and determine the best package for you. You can always add more if you need it, and it's only when you need it, that you pay for it, not before!

Bandwidth

Bandwidth equates to the number of users that are using your website and how optimised your web pages are. Every time a users visits one of the pages on your site a little bit of bandwidth is used.

If you have a small club site, you probably won't need massive amounts of bandwidth. If you have a big shop that has hundreds or thousands of users you'll need more. If you deal with high resolution images and only a few users, you may need a fair size bandwidth, again it all depends.

Don't worry about bandwidth, it's our job to work out your likely needs based on the site we build and the questions we ask. Again it's all geared so you don't pay for bandwidth that you'll never need!

Website Extras

Unless your website is a very simple static site, you'll more than likely need a database or two. We'll take care of it, you won't even know that you'll be using one.

Modern websites use databases for content management, which means that you can change the content of your pages by logging into your website in a special area. You can change the text on pages by using a friendly word processor type interface. We can take care of your content if you prefer, or you can go it alone once the site is built(we'll help you on your way of course).

Technical Web/Website Details

If you have any particular technical needs we'll discuss this at web design time and advise. You may need to integrate certain software applications or business software or technologies. It's our job to help you get the right solution for your needs.

Website Backups

We can offer a backup solution for your needs. Computers do go wrong and sites do go down and data is lost. We can manage backups for you so we can get you back up and running again with minimal disruption.

If you're a business with constantly changing site content, you will probably want a more structured and regular backup programme, we can help!
